Unexpected color

I bought this for my husband to remind him of a recent trip to Moab. Unfortunately the stone arrived blue? I was hoping it would look like the picture and more like natural red stones. Not sure how this Robin egg blue color is depicting Utah. I could tell he was disappointed.
