Out of all of the states, Georgia is the leading producer of peaches, peanuts and pecans.  The state is an interesting blend of historic and modern, and cities like Atlanta and Savannah have their own unique “personalities.” Georgia received its name in honor of King George II of Great Britain.  Stone Mountain, Georgia, outside of Atlanta, is home to one of the world’s largest examples of exposed granite. It also makes up the world’s largest sculpture.
